What we do with the funding money

Handbook for volunteers

In our DOPDA.Camp project, we have created a training course, a manual and a method kit for working with children and young people in crisis.

We will expand these materials with a module for dealing with young refugees and make them available to volunteers free of charge.

Free use of our rooms
We make our rooms in Heidelberg available free of charge for workshops, courses and other offers that are carried out by or with refugees.
Building a network

We are building up a network of volunteers and organizations who want to run workshops, courses, or other events on our premises. In doing so, we will draw on existing structures.

Our goal is for this network to organize itself independently from 2023.

Providing funds for catering and materials
Drinks and snacks are provided for activities that take place in our facilities. In addition, we can provide financial support for the purchase of necessary materials.
